Ohh...what kind of emotions i went through meeting Remani Ma'am, after so many years!!! She hasn't grown as old as i had thought, but the visible greying of hair is there, but her energy levels, affection and aura haven't dwindled. Had the good fortune of meeting her in God's own country, in a more or less pleasant weather.
We had long discussion, after she saw the presentation that i had handed over that was prepared yesterday. I had to come down to trivandrum from Tirunelveli because the distance isnt much and didnt want to lose the chance of meeting her. It all went well and we had discussions and open talk for an hour.
I couldnt resist paying my obeisance to her by touching her feet the moment i saw her and felt good to receive her blessings. It was her husband's ancestral home in trivandrum, where we met. They had come there in connection with a wedding and i didnt want to lose that opportunity.
There is so much more to share, but there is a train to catch under two hours from now. Unless someone shares the responsibility of this blog, i may have to keep away from posting blogs regularly, due to professional commitments. In August 2010, lets meet with renewed energy. God bless, until then.

Leave No Stone Unturned
True workers are few everywhere. But if those few are potent enough, many things can be achieved. Any organisation is as good as its workers are. And that should hold good in our case too. Till now, passionate members have been few to come by, but that doesn't discount the fact that some of the alumni expressed willingness to contribute with their efforts.
The very purpose of an old students association is defeated without active participation of the alumni. First step in this is finding them, next is to impress upon them the need for an organisation. Any organisation or association is better placed to make bigger impacts. Organisations/Associations need workers for their survival and vice versa. Here we are trying to build an Association from scratch. Every bit of help from each of the alumni will be a big factor.
We should leave no stone unturned in our pursuit to build up this organisation from scratch.

All Roads Will Lead To Kairalee Nilayam High School
Come August, and our Re-union meeting will take place. Each one of us is so excited to think about meeting everyone else. Its one of a kind feeling. No amount of money can buy this kind of happiness.
There are so many people who are in the dark about this association taking shape. We have enough plans to include all those who are not notified till date. Ads in leading english dailies will be put forth a few days before the Re-union. Anyone who reads newspaper will be intimated automatically.
Since no one has any idea of how many will make it to the Re-union, we are thinking of asking old students to confirm their chances of attending the Re-union meeting. The scales are enormous to leave the most important factor of the heads attending the re-union meeting to chance. So many things need to be catered for and our friends are to be given a good ambience for pouring out their feelings.
We are so sure, in August this year, there will be a day when all roads will lead to Kairalee Nilayam High School. Don't forget to invite your friends if u wanna see them.

A Cursory View
Almost a month has passed since we made our appearance on the internet for the sake of our Alumni association. Quite a decent growth has been recorded, and this is because of the interest shown by each one of the Alumnus of KNHS. With every passing day, the numbers joining our association are increasing.
We will be arming ourselves with a little blue print or plan, so that things don't falter on the Re-union day. For starters, we need to give out invitations to all the old teachers of KNHS, well in time so that they can make it for the Re-union that we are planning in August 2010. Before that, a detailed briefing needs to be given to the school administration of our plans.
We don't have much time to react. That's we keep harping on the need for urgency in locating our old classmates. Every old student needs to be intimated about the exact date of the re-union. The most probable location for the re-union would be our school premises itself. There wont be any constraints for space there and its economically viable too, for an association which is struggling hard to take shape.
Many of the people who have emailed us, haven't yet given their contact numbers. Not everyone checks their email on a regular basis. If there is an intimation to be given on short notice, contact number is always the best bet. Kindly give us your contact numbers through email to knhs.alumni@gmail.com
If you have any suggestions or points you can leave comments here or email us. If u want to volunteer for being actively involved in the association for arranging the re-union, plz get in touch with one of the coordinators at +919605915449 (Joshi).
